Couple of day back, most of iOS devices users enjoyed the iOS 4.3.3 untethered jailbreak. i0n1c, the guy behind the untethere hack for iOS 4.3.3 jailbreak has noticed that using latest Redn0w was led to an improvement in iPhone, iPod touch and iPad battery lifetime.
BTW: by using the latest RedSw0w you also might decrease the battery drain.
Process Priority was not restored after the kernel exploit. That might have caused some battery drain.
